Victoria University Cricket Scholarships

The Victoria University Cricket Scholarships were established in 2003 by the Wellington Cricket Trust in conjunction with Victoria University of Wellington and Victoria University Cricket Club. They are offered to active cricketers who intend to study at Victoria University.

Six scholarships are awarded annually to students who have a proven record of potential for achievement both academically and in cricket. The scholarships entail $3000 paid towards students' tuition per year. In addition, women applicants are automatically considered for the Frances King Memorial Scholarship. This provides tuition fees to the value of $3,500 and a $500 voucher to be used on cricket gear.

Scholarship recipients are required to play for the Victoria University Cricket Club.

The next set of applications close on 15 November 2011.

Additional information can be found on the Victoria University of Wellington website scholarships page.
